    Climb up to the look-out terrace restaurant atop Cozumel’s highest point - on a small rocky cliff on the island’s wild east coast.

    The best views on Cozumel, hot’n’spicy Mexican menu, fresh seafood and shellfish, cold beers, long cocktails, smilin’ staff… do you really need any more reasons to go?

    Location: Costera Este (East Side Highway) about 3 miles (5km) south of where the Transversal (Cross-island Highway) meets it. About 30-40 min. from downtown.

    Price guide: Chicken Fajitas $9, Fish Fillet $8, Beer $3, Margarita $5, Soda $2. Cash only.

    Opening hours: 10am until dusk, daily.

    El Galeón Beach Bar
    Beach shack style bar and restaurant with incredible windward side views on Playa San Martín.

    Mainly Mexican menu, fresh seafood, cold beers, beach cocktails. Relaaaaaaax.

    Location: roughly mid-way on the east side coastal highway.

    Distance from downtown approx. 30 min drive.

    Price guide: Nachos $4.50, Fish Fillet $9, Lobster from $15.

    Open daytime only.

    El Manatí
    Charming rustic bar and restaurant in a traditional Cozumel timber wood house.

    Fine a la carte menu all day and evening, lunch time menu too. Bar and lounge. Live music Thursday and Saturday nights.

    Well worth a visit.

    Location: Corner of Avenida 10 with Calle 8.

    Opening hours: 12 noon-11pm, Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri and 12 noon-2am, Thu, Sat.

    From the original New Orlean’s daiquiri experts, the Cozumel branch of this mardis gras bar chain is always lively and serves great ice cocktails.

    Party atmosphere right on the main square downtown, next to the Ferry Pier.

    Location: Parque Benito Juarez (main square) - north side.

    Freedom In Paradise, Reggae Beach Bar

    Cozumel’s most laid-back bar and restaurant. Hammocks, food and drink on the beach on the island’s windward side.

    Reggae music and beach grub in the middle of no-where - this place will seduce you!
    Location: Costera Este (East Side Highway) about 20 miles (33 km) south of downtown taking the Costera Carretera Sur, past the entrance to Punta Sur where it meets the East Coast Highway. About 30-40 min. from downtown.
